Organizational Structure
BCO membership is available to individuals, community organizations and local breastfeeding coalitions.
Local coalitions have Leader/Representatives who serve on Eastern and Western Steering Committees. Individual members (those working in communities without local coalitions) represent their area.
These Regional Steering Committees elect Chair representatives, who serve on an Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee is responsible to listen, respond and support Members in defining and carrying out BCO goals and also to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
